Daycare may kill us

Seriously, we went from terrible head colds that all of us shared the first week of March, to trying desperately to recover from said colds on about 3 hours of sleep a night thanks to the 4-month sleep regression that baby is kindly sharing with us. Then I managed to come down with a whopping sinus infection - the whole nine yards with terrible cough, green boogers, head weighing about 30 pounds, sore throat, and general misery. I think I could avoid all the daycare bugs if I could just get some sleep, but our pediatrician says it will probably be a few more weeks before he remembers how to sleep through the night again.

On the plus side, all that waking up in the night has not made him crabby one bit and he had a glowing report from the pediatrician: His weight and head circumference are in the 75th percentile (he now weighs 14 pounds 9 oz.), and his length is in the 90th percentile. Looks like he's going to be a tall drink of water! I was relieved that his weight is ok because it's hard to get enough formula and cereal into him to offset the number of calories he burns by wiggling non stop all day!
Oh yeah! He eats cereal out of a spoon now! I was nervous about trying it at first because other moms warned me that babies tend to choke and retch until they get used to the texture, but Jack doesn't mind it one bit. He never gagged at all - he just ate it! He loves it and tries to take the bowl away from me. He's also experimenting with its cosmetic properties:
